On February 23-24, 2018, I had the pleasure of being in the Texas Panhandle to attend the Annual TALE (Texas Association for Literacy Education) Conference. The conference took place at West Texas A & M University in Canyon, Texas. I attended the conference representing TALE as a Board Member, and I was also able to present one of my most successful literacy sessions yet titled, “Changing the Language“.

The official release of the first in a series of literacy related books for parents and teachers has arrived! 29 Days to L.O.V.E. Literacy is a practical and easy to use book that includes activities that teach literacy skills in a relevant, and unique manner. The book originally began as a series of tweets on my Twitter account, then later I further developed the ideas into a book.

Fall 2015 Semester Reflections
The busiest semester that I have ever had teaching college courses, recently came to an end. I had a heavy course load this time around, it was a test at times, and I really had to find a balance in my personal life and career. However, it was a welcomed challenge.
